Proposed Budget Cuts could mean a 3% cut for NV

How could the District either save the difference or raise income to make up the difference for the proposed cuts?  What do you think?  $411,000 is a pretty big chunk of change for our district.

  1. I feel that they should try to sell things such as magazines and other things to get money for new things, (instance the track) not just having to relay on the government for funds. If this is allowable, I think we could raise a lot of money. It could also benefit this town to come together. And instead of being handed the money have to work for it!

  2. We could have a 4-day school week. It would save a lot of money in the long run, including transportation, electric, heating costs, and more..
